Office Visits

Our greatest goal is to give you the healthy, straight, and beautiful smile youve always wanted. We understand that choosing to receive orthodontic care is a big decision, and we respect your reasons for wanting to improve the way you look and feel.

Our team will work with you every step of the way to make sure your orthodontic care is as rewarding as possible. We utilize the latest technology, and offer a variety of safe and gentle treatment options to give you the customized, individual care you deserve.

Every smile starts with a New Patient Exam!

Your New Patient Exam will give you the opportunity to meet our team, learn more about orthodontics, receive a complete initial exam, and find out which treatment options will best meet your needs. During your complimentary examination, our doctors will:

  • Review your dental and medical history forms
  • Perform a complete orthodontic exam to determine whether treatment is necessary
  • Discuss possible treatment options
  • Discuss all financial information, insurance options, and payment plans

During your complimentary exam, we will explain the necessary steps to begin your orthodontic treatment. If youd like to schedule an appointment, please call our San Jose office at (408) 258-7141, Campbell office at (408) 377-3388 or our Honolulu office at (808) 777-2377.

What happens after the New Patient Exam?

If you do choose to receive orthodontic treatment, we will need to gather the necessary information (records) such as digital x-rays, an iTero digital scan, and perform digital measurments to come up with a detailed treatment plan. Patients and parents will have the option to review the specific findings.

You will then be ready to begin treatment! This is when one of the doctors will place your new orthodontic appliance. Typically, this appointment is no longer than one hour, and then you’re on your way toward your new smile!

Scheduling Appointments

Visiting the orthodontist every four to eight weeks is an essential part of your orthodontic treatment. Regular checkups last 20 to 40 minutes. Our practice will work with you to make sure your appointments are scheduled around your busy schedule, so you spend less time in the dental chair, and more time enjoying the things you love to do.

We understand that life happens, so if youre running late or need to reschedule, please let us know, and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. When youre ready to schedule your first appointment, call our San Jose practice at (408) 258-7141, our Campbell practice at (408) 377-3388 or our Honolulu practice at (808) 777-2377 were looking forward to working with you.

Visiting the dentist during orthodontic treatment

It is very important that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months (or as recommended by your dentist) for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups, even during your orthodontic treatment. If extra dental care is needed, we will be happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure you receive the best possible care.
